I paste the whole lot into a wordpress document when I’m editing a carnival, including the trackbacks. Then I work my way through all the articles that don’t meet my blogcarnival criteria. These are surprisingly simple. But by the time I’m done, there’s usually not much left. Though I usually eliminate unsuitable articles from the post, it’s possible the trackbacks get left by accident. Not every article has a trackback.
